The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will hold a national conference entitled "Building a Framework for Healthy Housing" September 15-17, 2008, in Baltimore, Maryland. The conference aims to attract a broad community of experts to discuss regulatory, policy, research, and outreach to discuss this topic.  More information and registration.

Seventh annual International Conference of Urban Health

Georgia State expects to play a significant role in the seventh annual International Conference of Urban Health, to be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, October 29-31, 2008.  Georgia State is a co-sponsor of the event.  At least six faculty members are planning to attend and to share their research with other researchers and practitioners from around the world.
